One of the best things about Miami is the diversity of its people and the experiences you can have. Whether you’re prone to party, enjoy creative culinary creations or would rather experience the city’s cultural gems, it’s easy to curate a first-rate trip to fit your lifestyle…
SLS South Beach can be summed up in three words: Sun. Scene. Service.
You don’t come to the SLS to hang out in your room (although the rooms are incredibly stylish). You come to stay in one of the city’s iconic buildings (the tallest Art Deco building, in fact), to see and be seen with the young and the beautiful, to drink and eat extraordinarily well, and to live out your wildest South Beach dreams.
Built on the storied Warner Brothers estate on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, it’s no surprise to find a continuation of the Eden Roc’s show biz roots in its latest iteration: Nobu Eden Roc.
Think of it as two hotel experiences at the same Miami Beach address, and this, a tale of two towers.

There are a number of enticing options for motorsports racing in the Miami area. If you want to watch the action, there’s the upcoming Race of Champions at Marlins Park and the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. But if you prefer doing rather than spectating, you can always take to the track yourself behind the wheel of a high-performance automobile. And how fun would that be? Continue reading Racing Miami
Just a few minutes by boat from Miami Beach lies an unusual kind of national park. Beyond the seascape of turquoise water for as far as the eye can see, its ample natural and man-made treasures – the coral reefs, mangrove swamps, shipwrecks and curious remains of human habitation – aren’t immediately apparent. That’s because ninety-five percent of its 172,000 protected acres are found beneath the waves, making Biscayne National Park the largest marine park in the national system. As they say, it’s all about location, location, location. To catch the latest blockbuster movie releases, duck into the darkness of your local multiplex. But if you like your movies in a scenic venue with a side of sociability, it’s time to spend your spring and summer nights under the stars catching some classic cinema. With so much much happening you’ll hardly have time to sleep, relax by the pool, workout, shop and indulge in the hotel services. Since cloning yourself isn’t practical, perhaps you should plan to extend your stay? We can take care of that for you.

Since opening earlier this year, 1 Hotel South Beach has been one of the most buzzed-about accommodations in the area. Visitors have been quick to laud the hotel to anyone who will listen, and are vocal in their praise for every aspect of the rooms, service, atmosphere and food.
The first thing you notice about 1 Hotel South Beach is the look. The 17-story Collins Ave. building, erected in 1925, has undergone an extraordinary transformation under the watchful eye of design studio Meyer Davis. Organic materials – stone, wood and warm textiles – throughout the space brings a natural serenity to the hotel that reflects its environmental commitment (more on that later).
The 426 rooms and suites at 1 Hotel South Beach are spacious, to say the least. King rooms start at 700 square feet, and things go up from there. Awake from a deep sleep on the hemp-blend Keetsa mattress and peer out at the city or ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows from the bed’s raised oak platform.
At the helm of Beachcraft, 1 Hotel South Beach’s top-notch eatery, is none other than Tom Colicchio, five-time James Beard winner and judge on Food Network’s Top Chef. Locally caught fish and natural meats drive the menu at Beachcraft, with a fully stocked raw bar, pasta and salads all made in the eatery’s open kitchen fleshing out the selection. The two-level restaurant is already garnering rave reviews from all who have dined there.
1 Hotel South Beach is also a decidedly green hotel, although it does so with a swagger and style that doesn’t sacrifice luxury or comfort. The hotel’s linens are all 100 per cent organic furnishings are made from salvaged driftwood, the lobby features a farmstand and visitors’ travel needs are met with a fleet of Tesla electric vehicles.
